Just in time for the 2020 Spring New York Fashion Week, ESSENCE Fashion House returned to NYC to celebrate and support the creative genius and talent of our community. Showcasing the broad range of talent and creative genius contributed by Black women in the fashion industry, the Essence Fashion House closed out the season with an event that brought together industry experts. The day-long event featured Black-owned fashion and accessory designers, exclusive programming and panels along with three runway shows for emerging Black designers like Esé Azénabor, LeVenity, and Carlton Jones. Taking place to commemorate the magazine’s 50th anniversary celebrations this year, the Essence Fashion House brought together Black creatives from all walks with a fashion event that signals a turning tide in the industry.
